Wilin Buitrago Arias is a DPhil candidate in Politics and a member of the Department of Politics and International Relations (DPIR) and Campion Hall at the University of Oxford. His research is broadly focused on democratization processes and political parties in Latin America?, with a particular interests on the nature of collective political violence and its interactions with party-building processes in deeply divided and heterogeneous societies.
