Abstract | Bio

Raquel Chanto is a Doctoral candidate at the University of Oxford. Her research focuses on the relationship between the expansion of the global middle class and the fight against corruption. She has advised high-ranking officials in Costa Rica, the Organization of American States (OAS), and the Ibero-American General Secretariat (SEGIB). She has been the recipient of a Fulbright Scholarship and the Wallace Watson Career Scholarship and co-edited the 2016 volume Reformas Políticas en América Latina: Tendencias y Casos
