Anna Petherick is an Associate Professor in Public Policy at the Blavatnik School of Government, University of Oxford, where she teaches the core graduate politics course. Her research focuses on public policy and public institutions, corruption, gender, and trust, with much of it based in Brazil. Anna also directs the Lemann Foundation Programme at the School, a comparative research and engagement programme which generates and disseminates knowledge to improve the public sector and its associated institutions. During the pandemic, she was co-Principal Investigator of the Oxford COVID-19 Government Response Tracker (OxCGRT) project.
